The Units explained in these pages will build on the work you have covered in SoundWorks. It is assumed that you are familiar with the ideas and techniques explained in the Handbook, and that the children have completed Units 1 to 13 in the programme.
It was pointed out earlier that most children will not need the very thorough approach described in this new material. These ideas are intended for children who still find reading and spelling difficult, particularly those who are not getting on well with other published materials. |
